Profit share is a means for distributing wealth and rewarding associates for helping to grow the company. The profit that is shared with the associates is the owners' profit.
Profit share is derived from calculating the gross monthly income that the Market Center receives and subtracting out the approved Market Center expenses for the month. A formula is then applied and approximately 48% of the owner's profit is shared with the Keller Williams associates, who choose to participate in profit sharing. All distributions are made to the associates on a monthly basis.
Even better, all associates are vested after 3 years. That mesns that once you have been a Keller Williams associate for 3 years or more, you still receive profit sharing. Even if you leave Keller Williams! Even when you pass away, your estate will receive it because it's your assest and it's willable.
